Our Stories and Impact
Impact Story 1
In two of Ghana’s most remote rural districts, the dream of education used to stop at the classroom door because there were no books inside. We delivered nearly 6,000 math and reading textbooks directly into the hands of primary students, ensuring that teachers no longer have to teach “from the air.” By filling these empty shelves, we provided the essential tools for thousands of children to finally learn how to read and solve problems for themselves. As the Headmaster of Asueyi Primary School noted during our donation ceremony, these resources are exactly “what is needed to give the children a guaranteed future.”
Impact Story 2: A Digital First for Rural Ghana
For many students in Asueyi, a computer was a mystery—something seen in a book but never touched. We took a bold step toward closing this gap by delivering over $5,000 worth of computers, 150 flash drives, and 8 printers. The impact was captured perfectly by Mr. Yeboah Assiamah, a native of the community, who remarked: “It is an exciting day because for some of these children, computers are things they would never touch… but now they can sit in front of computers and play games right here. I’m so happy today.” By providing this hardware, we are giving rural students the digital literacy they need to type their own future into existence.
Impact Story 3
Often, it is the simplest hurdles that keep a child out of school—the lack of a bag to carry their work or a tool to solve a problem. To remove these barriers, we provided 300 sturdy backpacks, 35 calculators, and a wide array of essential school supplies to students who were previously coming to class empty-handed. When a child puts on a backpack, they carry a sense of pride and a commitment to their own education. These “essentials” provide the daily dignity every student needs to show up, stay in school, and succeed, knowing their community—and the world—is rooting for them
